Account data: the name and email you provide when creating your account, plus an optional profile photo.

Usage data: the topics you study, the arguments and messages you send in debates (including speech-to-text transcriptions), your quiz answers, lesson progress, and improvement metrics.

Voice and audio data: voice recordings and audio input processed transiently to convert your speech into text when you use speech practice or voice-based debate features.

Device permissions: optional access to your device microphone (required for voice-based features) and local storage (for exporting report files).

Technical data: basic information needed to operate and secure the service. We do not collect precise location data and we do not access your contacts.

We use your data to authenticate your account, personalize your exercises, transcribe and analyze voice inputs, measure your progress, generate and improve corrections and content, and keep the service secure.

We never sell your personal information.

To generate debate responses, corrections, transcriptions, and study content, your arguments, messages, and voice inputs may be processed by third-party AI and speech providers (for example, Anthropic, Google, and Groq) under confidentiality agreements.

We do not use your personal data to train AI models. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies.

We share data only with providers essential to running the service — hosting, authentication, AI providers, and payment processing — always under confidentiality agreements, or when required by law.

Your data is stored with infrastructure providers that apply industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.

You can access and correct your data in the app settings at any time.

You can also delete your account directly in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account), with no need to email us. Deletion permanently removes your personal data, debates, progress, and achievements from our systems.

Argumentia is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will communicate material changes inside the app.
